A two-time nominee for Hairdresser of the Year in Norway, Grethe Sagmoen knew at an early age that she wanted to work in the fashion and beauty industry. Inspired by legendary supermodels like Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer, she fantasized about working backstage creating beautiful hair for runway shows and photo shoots. Thanks to her talent and hard work, that’s exactly what she’s done.

Her credits include hairstyling for TV shows such as Idol, The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, X Factor, and various awards shows, as well as numerous commercial and artistic photo shoots. She has a particular passion for styling long hair and came in second in that category at the OMC Hairworld photo competition in Milan.

Throughout her career, Grethe has thrived on the opportunity to travel and meet new people. She also cherishes the close connections she forms with clients in her chair. “To see someone look at themselves and smile gives me the best satisfaction.”
