Jocelyn Emerson is a Bridal Hairstylist and Educator based in Cleveland, Ohio, specializing in boho and effortless bridal hairstyling. A licensed cosmetologist since 2009, Jocelyn graduated from the cosmetology program at Auburn Career Center in Concord, Ohio.

In 2019, she launched her bridal business, Updos By Jocelyn, and began her journey as an educator in 2020, initially teaching locally before expanding nationally in 2022. Educating is one of Jocelyn’s greatest passions, and she takes pride in inspiring her students and watching them grow. Since 2022, she has facilitated her Bridal Hairstyling Masterclass in 16 states, teaching hundreds of students, with plans to expand her reach even further.

Jocelyn is also a member of the Babyliss Pro Education Team, where she has participated in stage presentations at major hair shows and served as a creative lead for their course Babyliss 4 Bridal. Additionally, she collaborates with CosmoProf Beauty and Behind The Chair as part of their influencer teams, creating hairstyling tutorials for her vibrant social media community of over 140,000 followers.

Her expertise has led to collaborations with leading brands, including Moroccanoil, Schwarzkopf, Aquage, Design Me, Kitsch, and more. Jocelyn’s work has been featured in renowned publications such as Beauty Launchpad, Southern Living, Modern Salon, and SalonEVO.
