Moroccanoil Artist

Michel Baltazar

“Hairdressing is a philosophy”

“I have always wanted to do an artistic job, to draw reality in my own way,” says stylist Michel Baltazar. “Because every face is different, it creates the possibility to work with different effects and textures to find the essence of each client or model through their hair.”

This artistry has fuelled Michel’s many achievements as a stylist, including serving as Hair and Makeup Director for the Bombay Times Fashion Week and GQ Fashion Nights, as well as editorial shoots for Vogue, Elle, Rolling Stone, GQ, Hello, and other elite magazines.

Michel thrives on the constantly changing nature of the beauty industry. “Trends remind us that nothing is fixed, everything is in perpetual movement. Every day is a new day,” he says. His innate curiosity also inspires him to seek inspiration in other fields, such as music, cinema, dance, and design. “It’s the way to have a global vision and an enlightened point of view.”

Why does he love Moroccanoil? “The vital role of styling and haircolor products is to create beauty. Moroccanoil does it perfectly.” The brand’s focus on creating a transportive experience also aligns with Michel’s approach. “Taking care of your hair with the right products is not just a necessity, it's a real moment of relaxation and happiness,” he says. “I am proud to embody the Moroccanoil philosophy during my education trainings.”
