A specialist in coloring curly and coily hair, Barri Gibson is on a dual mission to help women of color celebrate their hair, and to educate fellow hairstylists to expand and refine their skills.

She is the owner of the The Curlective in Bloomfield, New Jersey, which has been recognized by Essence Magazine as a Standout Salon due to her talent as a colorist and the outstanding experience she provides for her clients. Her work has been featured in the Bavity x Sephora beauty campaign, Essence Fest virtual beauty summit 2021, Jet magazine, and Yahoo Beauty.

Her professional approach aligns perfectly with the Moroccanoil focus on nourished, healthy-looking hair. “I’m passionate about haircare because it’s the foundation of beautiful styling,” she says. “Healthy hair shines and bounces.” She first fell in love with Moroccanoil Treatment, then with the entire product line, because of “how well every product works to create a healthier canvas.”

Tania Lacoste Major is a hairstylist and makeup artist with over a decade of experience. She has honed her skills and passion for hair and beauty in a variety of fields, including TV, cinema advertising, photo shoots, and Fashion Week runway shows.

In 2016, Tania opened her own salon in Montreal, Atelier Major, driven by her desire to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone to feel comfortable and express themselves. Her salon has become a popular destination for clients seeking expert haircare and personalized attention.

Throughout her career, Tania has collaborated with many well-known brands and companies. Recently, she joined the artistic team at Moroccanoil, where she can focus her energy on her shared values and passion for hair and people, which are celebrated and encouraged by the Moroccanoil team.

Tania’s artistry and technique have earned her a reputation as a trusted and reliable professional in the industry. She continues to push the boundaries of creativity and inspire others to do the same.
